Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Unarmed Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies while following established protocols.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential security risks.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Valid security guard license (Guard Card) preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
