Event Security Officer (Flex) Variable Hour
Positions REQUIRE possession of a California Guard Card
Position Overview:
The Event Security Officer provides on-site and event security services for clients. All duties must be performed in accordance with client and company policies and standard operating procedures, following all California and federal regulations. Overview of Duties and Physical Requirements
- Provide security services at local site
- Serve as a visible security presence at client location
- Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
- Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
- Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide customer service driven, professional security services
- Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain state Guard Card certification
- 2 year experience in private security preferred
Education and Certification Requirements
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of state Guard Card certification
Other
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
- Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check
- If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
