Duties
- Patrol designated areas regularly to maintain safety and deter unauthorized access or activities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe and identify suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activities or theft attempts
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, providing detailed incident reports
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Training in first aid and CPR to effectively respond to medical emergencies
- Familiarity with conflict management strategies to handle tense situations professionally
- Understanding of loss prevention practices and security protocols
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective teamwork
