About the Role
Phoenix Security Hawaii is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer for the all shifts island-wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and proactive security presence
- Monitor premises to deter theft, loitering, vandalism, and disruptive behavior
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Issue trespass warnings to individuals violating store policy or engaging in illegal activity
- Communicate effectively with store management, dispatch, and local law enforcement
- Follow directives and site-specific protocols accurately
- Write clear and detailed incident and activity reports
- Use the TrackTik smartphone app for reporting, time tracking, and checkpoint logging
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor throughout the shift
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Valid Hawaii State Guard Card
- Ability to follow directives from supervisors and adhere to post orders
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Ability to issue and enforce trespass notices when necessary
- Must be able to operate a smartphone and use the TrackTik application
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
- Able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (both indoor and outdoor)
