Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure continuous site security.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees, controlling access points efficiently and professionally.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and addressing theft or vandalism attempts.
- Enforce safety protocols through conflict management and conflict resolution techniques when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and other security technology tools.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
