Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond quickly to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with security policies.
Duties
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to oversee property activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, including any unusual occurrences or breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, ensuring safety for all individuals involved.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols.
Requirements
- Certification in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Experience in loss prevention or surveillance is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage conflicts.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, including standing for extended periods and walking long distances.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is beneficial.
- A military background is a plus but not required.
