Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and disciplined Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and physical presence to prevent unauthorized access and detect suspicious activity.
- Enforce security protocols by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and staff before granting access.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents or security breaches, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense scenarios.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises, including surveillance checks and loss prevention measures to safeguard property.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring legal intervention.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong discipline and situational awareness.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; additional training in conflict management is a plus.
- Proficiency in surveillance technology such as CCTV systems; familiarity with loss prevention strategies preferred.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members, law enforcement officials, and the public.
- Knowledge of security procedures, legal regulations, and law enforcement protocols relevant to armed security operations.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts. Pay: $21.32 - $25.68 per hour
