Oculus Systems Security is hiring Part-Time, Weekends-Only Security Guards in Denver and surrounding areas. We are seeking confident, professional individuals who want to be part of a rapidly growing industry and play an active role in keeping our communities safe. Position Overview:

This is a contract-specific armed security position requiring a guard with a strong presence who can confidently maintain order and enforce property rules and policies. Candidates must be able to remain composed, professional, and decisive in challenging situations.

Starting salary range: $25 - $30/hour.

Compensation factors include: experience, education, certifications, licenses.
We offer bonuses for on-call activation, employee referrals and outstanding performance.

Requirements needed to apply for Security Guard /Officer openings:

Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred; bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Must pass a comprehensive background check, and random drug tests.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Valid driver's license required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
You must have (or be capable of obtaining within 30 days of hire) a Denver Security Guard License and a Denver Armed License Endorsement.
You must meet all Oculus (or equivalent) firearms training standards and pass qualifications.
Must provide your own body armor, duty belt, firearm, and level 2 or level 3 holster.

Job Functions/Responsibilities of the Security Guard/Officer:

Conduct oneself with integrity, professionalism, confidence, and strong communication skills.
Enforce contract-specific rules, property policies, and safety procedures.
Provide high-level customer service while maintaining security standards.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeters.
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
Secure buildings and designated areas per client requirements.
Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Observe, report, and delegate tasks to the appropriate parties as necessary.
Digitally report information: observations, reported occurrences, interviews surveillance activities, etc.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
