Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security issues or hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
- Enforce access control policies by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions.
- Conduct loss prevention activities by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious activity promptly.
Requirements
- Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts, with excellent observation skills.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with security protocols.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
