Duties
- Monitor premises to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security issues or hazards
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting access to the facility
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel during investigations or urgent situations
Skills
- Strong observational skills attention to detail during surveillance and patrols
- Excellent conflict management abilities to handle tense situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity security protocols techniques
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances effectiveness in this role
