Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and disciplined Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, rapid response to incidents, and effective conflict management. Your expertise in law enforcement procedures, security protocols, and emergency response will be vital in safeguarding our facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as a frontline protector while utilizing your specialized skills in security operations.

Duties

Conduct thorough surveillance using manual patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
Respond swiftly to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies, employing conflict management techniques and de-escalation skills.
Operate security equipment such as Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CPR devices to provide immediate assistance when necessary.
Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing detailed reports and relevant evidence from CCTV footage.
Execute loss prevention strategies by monitoring for tresspassers andor vandalism and implementing preventative measures to protect assets.

Requirements

Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on armed security operations.
Strong surveillance skills with proficiency manual patrol techniques.
Valid certifications in CPR, AED operation, Taser use, and first aid; additional training in heavy lifting and manual handling is preferred.
Knowledge of conflict management tactics and experience performing background checks on individuals.
Ability to respond calmly under pressure while managing potentially volatile situations effectively.
Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting tasks and long periods of standing or walking throughout shifts.
Familiarity with security systems, loss prevention methods, and emergency response procedures is highly desirable.
