ARMED GUARDS-BORDER/CONSTRUCTION SITES ALONG NEW MEXICO-MEXICO BORDER. NEW MEXICO LEVEL III LICENSE REQUIRED.
OVERVIEW:
Employees will typically work 84 hours per week (12-hour shifts, 7 days a week)
Weekly payroll. All OT paid in accordance with state law.
Work occurs on the New Mexico-Mexico Border.
Primary function is to monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety/security of the client's employees, contractors, and equipment.
Must be able to write a comprehensive daily activity report (DAR) in accordance with company standards. On the job training is provided.
Must be able to stand or walk for the entire shift minus scheduled breaks.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years recent armed security, military or law enforcement experience is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have New Mexico Level 3 armed security officer license.
· Must have valid Driver's License and good driving record; and
· Pass a comprehensive background check & initial and random drug tests
· Must have your own side arm, duty belt, tactical vest, smart phone, and reliable 4X4 transportation.
DRESS & APPEARANCE:
· Uniform Shirt and Jackets (provided for by the company)
· Tan/Desert Sand BDU's (you provide)
· Tan/Desert Sand Boots (you provide)
COMPENSATION:
· Starting straight time pay rate is $24 per hour, with OT being paid at $36.00 per hour (in accordance with state law).
· Per Diem, for those who work full-time, is $105 per day worked. This is for meals and housing, when required. Full-time employees are paid per diem for every full shift the work. For those who relocate, per diem is guaranteed 7 days a week.
· When applicable, vehicle pay is $90 per day. Your POV may be used if the company does not have any company owned vehicles for you to use and your 4WD POV meets our minimum standards. An additional premium payment of $35.00 or $70.00 per shift will be paid depending on additional miles driven t the jobsites, which are often remote.
· Payroll is processed weekly.
