Job Summary
STARTS TONIGHT! We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive perimeter patrols, bag checks, crowd control and ID scanning. Your expertise in security procedures, law enforcement collaboration, and emergency response will be vital in safeguarding assets and upholding safety standards. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy.
- Operate firearms and Tasers responsibly following all safety protocols and legal regulations; perform firearm handling with precision during high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance; support conflict de-escalation efforts when necessary.
- Execute emergency response procedures such as CPR, AED operation, first aid administration, and heavy lifting during rescue efforts or evacuations.
- Maintain physical security through manual handling tasks like heavy lifting when required for equipment or barriers; ensure all security equipment is functional and properly maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security operations.
- Valid certification in firearm handling, Taser use, CPR, AED operation, and first aid; additional certifications in surveillance technology or incident report writing are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and manual handling techniques.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Ability to perform background checks accurately while adhering to privacy laws and regulations.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting tasks safely, and respond swiftly during emergencies.
- Exceptional attention to detail for patrolling routines and incident documentation; compliance with all security regulations is mandatory.
- Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and coordinating with emergency responders or law enforcement agencies.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
