We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to join our team and uphold the safety and security of our premises. As a key protector of our facilities, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to any security incidents. Duties

Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the premises and detect suspicious behavior
Perform patrols of the facility’s interior and exterior areas to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes effectively
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches for record-keeping and future reference
Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures

Qualifications

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable
Certification in first aid and CPR to provide emergency assistance when needed
Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, patrolling for extended periods
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring activities and identifying risks
Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
