Security Guard needed for Upscale Apartments

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

Monitor premises through surveillance systems and regular patrols to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure safety within the facility.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents or breaches.
Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
Operate CCTV systems efficiently for monitoring and documentation purposes.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as needed.

Requirements

Certification in security training or law enforcement is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with operating CCTV systems and other security equipment is beneficial.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patrolling and securing premises.
A valid driver's license may be required depending on the location of the job site.
Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
