Overview:
Kates Detective Agency, a licensed and highly respected security firm operating in Chicago, is currently seeking
professional Security Officer/Drivers to join our growing team. This position involves patrolling client properties, ensuring safety, and driving company vehicles as part of security operations.
Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be
25 years of age or older due to insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate agency vehicles for patrol and incident response
- Provide high-visibility security presence at client sites
- Patrol designated locations by foot and/or vehicle
- Monitor and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Maintain professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service
- Follow site-specific post orders and company protocols
- Complete incident reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate with supervisors and dispatch as needed
- Assist with emergency response and de-escalation, if necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Possession of a valid PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or willing to obtain)
- FOID card preferred (for armed positions)
- Prior security or military/law enforcement experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain alert, responsive, and professional under pressure
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Schedule:
Various shifts available including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible and dependable.
Compensation:
