Job Description
Join our team of dedicated security professionals who are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. We are looking to fill full-time and part-time positions to cover evening shifts (primarily) or grave shifts on weekdays and day/evening/grave shifts on weekends; scheduling is flexible. Previous experience is not required, but all security guards must have a valid Guard Card.
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a secure and safe environment.
- Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and clients.
- Assist residents with concierge services: Package Pick-up, Storage Room Access, etc.
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure resident compliance.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and write detailed reports.
- Monitor surveillance cameras & alarm systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Skills
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and procedures
- Understanding of law enforcement protocols and practices
Qualifications
- Has a valid Guard Card
- Familiarity with writing reports
- Ability to handle conflicts and emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
