We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through effective monitoring and response strategies.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including checking for unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent disturbances.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when required.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
- Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally while ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Must possess a valid security guard license or certificate as required by local regulations.
