Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents effectively. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the property and its occupants.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order on the premises.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, accidents, or unusual activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during emergencies.
- Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate tense situations.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns.
Requirements
- Valid security guard certificate or license is preferred.
- Experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is an advantage.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
