Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents effectively. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the property and its occupants.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order on the premises.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, accidents, or unusual activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during emergencies.
Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate tense situations.
Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns.

Requirements

Valid security guard certificate or license is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is an advantage.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
