We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations regarding safety and security; intervene in conflicts as needed while maintaining professionalism.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure comprehensive security measures are upheld.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with CCTV operations and other security technology is an advantage.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail; ability to identify potential threats quickly.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
