Summary
The Court Security Guard position enforces court security procedures in accordance with Administrative Order No. 2017-15 of the Supreme Court of Arizona and City Court procedures under the direction of the Court Administrator. Duties may include potentially high-risk situations involving the safety of court personnel and the public. Position enhances the safety and security of the court facility by limiting access to people and materials in the court facility using screening methods and technology. This position also observes employees and patrons within the court facility and parking areas using patrol techniques, camera monitoring, and responding to duress and emergency alarms when activated.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, or G.E.D., and two years directly related experience in regulatory or enforcement duties; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the job’s essential duties such as those listed in the job description. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License
SELECTION PROCESS
