Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance, enforce rules and regulations, and provide assistance in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate CCTV systems to observe activities and detect suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide accurate reports of incidents.
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations as required.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance in emergencies when certified.
- Participate in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
Skills
- Proficient in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and law enforcement protocols.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
- First Aid certification is preferred; CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
