Job Overview
Hollywood Toys & Costumes is looking for Security Officers to assist during our Halloween season. Located on Hollywood Blvd., there is no scarcity of activity during our store's open hours. Your role would be to cultivate a safe environment for the Halloween crowds and our staff, as well as managing the flow of traffic at the entrance, including conducting bag checks.
The ideal candidate for the role has experience within the security field, has integrity and comfort deescalating scenarios of conflict.
Duties
- Maintain order within the store
- Monitor shoppers to avoid potential shoplifting
- Remove trespassers when necessary
- Monitor surveillance cameras
- Check in any customer baggage, food or drink upon entry
Qualifications
- Guard Card
- Understanding of public safety and security procedures
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to main composure while deescalating potential conflict
This is a position for Halloween Seasonal Temp Work (Now - End of October)
Starting pay for this position would be 22$/hr
