Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain oversight of premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of property to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism attempts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and conflict management strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies is a plus.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration.
