Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
- Document incidents, accidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
- Ability to handle conflicts calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of integrity.

Pay: $20.23 - $24.36 per hour
