We are seeking a highly responsible Security Officer to join our 24/7 security operations team. This position is primarily focused on non-event, day-to-day facility security, including monitoring physical infrastructure, protecting assets, verifying credentials, and providing site-wide surveillance coverage. Officers in this role are essential to protecting stadium personnel, property, and critical systems during both active and dormant hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facility Patrols & Perimeter Integrity:
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols throughout interior and exterior zones, including suites, concourses, offices, loading docks, gates, and parking lots.
- Inspect doors, gates, and access points to ensure they are secure.
- Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, or maintenance issues.
Access Control & Credential Verification:
- Monitor and manage access at employee entrances, loading docks, and other sensitive areas.
- Verify credentials for staff, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain access logs and ensure only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
Surveillance & Alarm Monitoring:
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm panels, and building management systems.
- Respond to alarms or system alerts and dispatch appropriate personnel.
Emergency Response:
- Serve as first responder for incidents including fire, medical, or intrusion.
- Initiate emergency procedures and notify internal teams or public safety as needed.
- Complete incident reports with accurate and timely documentation.
Guest & Staff Support (Non-Event):
- Provide support for early arriving staff, late-night crews, and contracted vendors.
- Offer directions or assistance as needed to authorized personnel.
Operational Readiness Checks:
- Perform checks on lighting, emergency exits, fire panels, elevators, and utility rooms.
- Ensure readiness for any upcoming events or scheduled maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.

Technology & Equipment Use:
Security Officers are expected to be proficient in the use of various security and communication tools, including:
- X-ray screening equipment for inspecting bags or packages
- Walk-through magnetometers and hand-held metal detectors
- Two-way radios and radio communication protocols
- Laptop and desktop computers for incident reporting and log entries
- iPads or mobile tablets for access control, digital logs, and workforce communication
- Access control systems, including badge readers and credential scanners
- CCTV and video surveillance systems (experience with Genetec, Avigilon, or similar platforms is a plus)
Training on all platforms will be provided, but prior experience is strongly preferred.
Education & Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current/Valid Guard Card (or ability to obtain as a condition of hire).
- Previous experience in security, event management, law enforcement, or customer service is a plus.
