Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure safety.
Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and taking appropriate action.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
