Key Responsibilities:
- Foot Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the site to maintain a visible security presence, both interior and exterior.
- Access Control: Monitor and control access at the main lobby/entry for employees and visitors, issuing access badges and ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Surveillance: Regularly check surveillance cameras and report any security issues or concerns.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, following security protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Security Checks: Secure all exits, doors, and windows during your shift and at the end of your shift.
- Reporting: Submit daily activity reports using company-provided software. Document all incidents accurately and comprehensively.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to clients, visitors, and employees, ensuring their needs are met in a calm and respectful manner.
What We’re Looking For:
- Suit and Tie Required: You must have business professional attire, as you will be representing Strongbox Security in a formal environment.
- Licensed and Reliable Vehicle: You must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel to the site.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office is required. Comfort using mobile security apps and reporting software is a must.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a CORI background check.
- Full Availability: You must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent observation skills to identify potential risks and suspicious behavior.
- Report Writing: Ability to write clear, concise reports and document incidents professionally.
Physical & Mental Expectations:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time. You will be posted at a desk for the most part.
- Professional Demeanor: Maintain a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace while providing exceptional customer service.
- Decision-Making Skills: Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions independently, while following established protocols.
