Get to Know This Role
The Security team plays a key role in enabling the enjoyment for Sierra Nevada Brewing employees and guests of quality product in a safe and secure atmosphere. Security employees will patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees and company property at the brewery's Mills River Campus. The Security Guard acts as an ambassador for the company while fulfilling the essential duties of the position. This role plays an important part in securing brewery manufacturing and guest experience.

 This is a part-time position requiring availability to work every Saturday and Sunday for 10-hour shifts. Shift assignments will vary between 1st and 2nd shift.
What You Will Do
- Patrols and inspects brewery property on foot, bike or in a motor vehicle.
- Welcomes visitors and guests by greeting them and exhibiting a high level of engagement.
- Promotes a quality guest experience by engaging with guests as a positive brand ambassador and ensuring a quality experience.
- Enforces company policies as they pertain to guest and employee conduct on the premises and documents infractions and advises management.
- Ensures all weigh station duties can be met, for example: Checking Incoming/outgoing truck loads, transfers, bottle, can and keg loads. Also, completing regular yard checks to ensure integrity of company products and successful outbound loads. Checks in contractors and deliveries using visitor management system.
- Develops and maintains knowledge and use of CCTV video equipment, access control system, weather alerting, fire alarm system, intrusion alarms, and incident reporting tool.
- Monitors entrances and departure of employees, visitors, and deliveries vehicles including the movement of products in and out of the building to guard against theft.
- Member of Emergency Response Team, responsible for responding to calls that can occur within the company, (chemical spill, confined space rescue, fire evacuation, first aid)
- Responds to requests for medical assistance when required, renders first aid, and notifies emergency services consistent with company policy, skill level and certification
- Use 2-way radios and cell phones as necessary to stay in contact with security personnel
- During serious emergencies, may be assigned to assist in the evacuation of the brewery
- Assists with contracted security staff, internal investigations and preventing internal theft through loss prevention practices
- Performs other security duties that may be assigned

- The person will be able to communicate effectively and calmly in a variety of different situations to include stressful situations
- This candidate will need to have the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- The ability to multitask while keeping organized
- The candidate will have the ability to proficiently use standard computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Driver's License free of any major moving violations in the last three years upon hire required
