American Security Associates Inc. is currently seeking candidates for Security Guard.
· Establish a security presence. Monitor foot and vehicle traffic in and out of the facility, patrol property.
· Must be able to read and follow post orders.
· Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings.
· Announce deliveries as well as visitors, and contractors.
· Greet employees and visitors as they arrive and assist with any concerns they might have.
· Complete reports and other required documentation. Write reports for all security incidents. Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
· Monitor alarms and security cameras, answer phones, provide information, directions and general guidance.
· Complete daily rounds of site, being watchful for suspicious persons and/or activities, inspect buildings, equipment and access points. Serve as a deterrent to persons who have intent to committing criminal acts.
· Verify secure loads of delivery trucks and monitor materials leaving the facility
· Other duties as needed.

Paid training and paid overtime..
Candidates must meet the following:
· Be able to pass drug and background checks
· Have your own transportation
· Be free of any felony convictions
· Have a high school diploma or equivalent
· Age 25 years or older,
· Must be alert, comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time in all types of weather.
· Have proficient written and oral communication skills plus a working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
· All employees are required to wear the provided uniform. Keep clean and neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
· Employee must have polite, courteous and helpful conduct when working with direct client population and fellow Security Officers.
· Profanity, Racial Ethnic Slurs and/ or Jokes, and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited
* Candidates must have working knowledge and ability to operate a smart phone or tablet. General operational knowledge of these devices are required for reporting activities.
