Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities and maintain security records.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively, using conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and security protocols.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
