Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, well-groomed, and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires professionalism in both appearance and conduct, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.
Appearance & Grooming Requirements
Applicants must report to duty in full professional attire and maintain a clean, polished appearance at all times. The following are mandatory for all applicants and working staff:
- Black suit (must fit properly and be pressed/ironed)
- White dress shirt
- Black tie
- Black dress shoes (polished)
- Proper grooming: clean haircut, trimmed facial hair, and overall professional hygiene
Candidates who do not meet these standards upon arrival will not be considered for employment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to confirm security measures are in place.
- Engage in conflict management and de-escalation techniques when needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and assist in investigations related to security breaches or incidents.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required.
- Strong conflict management and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
Additional Information
This position pays $18/hour with bi-weekly pay. The schedule runs Monday through Sunday, 10:30 AM – 7:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
