JOB DESCRIPTION
· Identity check of all personnel, contractors and visitors.
· Deny entrance to anyone not in possession of valid identification including suspended, terminated, and/or banned employees, contractors & visitors.
· Maintain record keeping logs as required.
· Direct law enforcement or other federal, state, or local regulatory agencies to appropriate entrance.
· Random Patrols of the site are to be taken at every hour. Estimated 45 minutes out of every hour during shift. Security officer will scan NFC tags at set locations during patrols.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
· Monitor security cameras and respond to alerts accordingly.
· Deescalate any situation of an unauthorized person or persons on the site and call local authorities immediately.
· Officer will be required to shovel snow in front of two different buildings.
· Officer will execute colors. Shall raise and lower the United States flag.
· The Officer shall provide employee and visitor escort services after regular business hours as requested.
Minimum Skills and Abilities
Medical Requirements
Employee shall be physically and mentally able to perform their assigned duties.
They shall be in good physical and mental health and free of any physical and mental disabilities that would prevent them from performing their duties. Every employee is required to have a physical every two years.
Physical Requirement
Security Officer’s MUST possess physical dexterity and stamina to ensure accomplishment of assigned missions. This includes walking Officer under all types of weather and terrain conditions, pursuing intruders over rough and hazardous terrain and around structures or over low obstacles, searching vehicles, and initiating immediate actions in emergency situations, such as fire, theft, accidents, sabotage, explosions, and natural disaster.
Training
Employment contingent on possessing a current security guard license prior to beginning working onsite. In addition, Security Officer’s must also complete the following certifications prior to beginning work onsite:
-Cardiopulmonary resuscitation & AED
-Basic First Aid
-Fire extinguisher training
-Sexual Harassment training
Former deployed military experience a benefit although not an exclusive requirement, owing to the company business profile.

Subject to a criminal background check and e-Verify federal system check, prior to employment.
