Position: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Must be available to work holidays and weekends as needed

Specific Duties & Essential Functions

Assess and report irregular or unusual conditions that may escalate into security concerns or safety hazards
Deter criminal activity and misconduct by informing violators of policy infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, prohibited items)
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, the public, and law enforcement
Monitor and control access for authorized personnel at entrances and exits
Investigate incidents and prepare clear, accurate written reports
Conduct unarmed security patrols on foot as required
Provide courteous and professional assistance to clients, employees, visitors, and law enforcement

Assignment Expectations

Access control for employees, visitors, and law enforcement
Screening duties (wanding / metal detector)
Occasional foot patrols
Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds
Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders when necessary
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods on various surfaces

Requirements

Valid Arizona Guard Card
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to complete mandatory company training
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening (to the extent permitted by law)
Fluent in spoken and written English
Professional appearance and attitude
