Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access
- Manage access control by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques
- Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency services arrive
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or safety hazards
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during investigations or incidents
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm protocols
- Excellent conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate medical assistance when needed
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security operations preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and authorities
