Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to security incidents. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address potential security issues.
- Control access to the facility by verifying ID's and managing guestcheck-ins.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security protocols.
- Provide first aid when necessary, assisting injured individuals until professional help arrives.
- Document incidents accurately in reports for future reference and investigations.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activity and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes when possible.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or conflict management is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
