Licensed Security Guard- Full-Time, Shift: 8AM-4PM needed to work in women shelter in the Bronx. Must have NYS Security License F02 or F80.
Ensuring that clients, visitors, guests and staff sign in and out of the facility.
· Monitoring the CCTV/Security Camera System.
· Making calls to the proper authorities in the event of an emergency.
· Monitoring and resetting Fire Alarm System.
· Monitoring the Command Station two – -way radio.
· Answering company phones in a professional manner.
· Able to diffuse and control verbal/physical altercations accordingly.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to write reports.
· Maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, clients and compliance with company rules and regulations.
· Patrol interior and exterior areas of building and report any safety hazards or unusual conditions to Safety Supervisors and Maintenance personnel.
· Basic computer literacy, able to understand Microsoft word and excel applications, monitoring and responding company assigned email.
