Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accordingly.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure swift resolution of incidents.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred to effectively respond to emergencies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
