Overnight Security Patrol Officer
Part-Time | Aspen, Colorado
Join a Team That's Trusted to Protect Aspen After-Hours
At Proguard Patrol Services, we believe great security is about far more than responding to problems. It's about preventing them before they happen.
Every night, our team helps protect some of Aspen's hotels, businesses, and residential properties by providing a professional presence, supporting overnight operations, and giving our clients peace of mind while they sleep.
We aren't looking for someone to simply "stand guard." We're looking for someone who is dependable, observant, professional, and capable of working independently. Someone who takes pride in doing the right thing, even when nobody is watching.
If you're looking for a position where you'll be trusted with responsibility, given the freedom to work independently, and become an important part of a small, respected team, we'd love to meet you.
What Makes This Position Different?
Rather than sitting at a single location, you'll travel between a portfolio of Aspen's hotels, businesses, and residential properties, providing scheduled patrols and operational support throughout the night.
Much of the work is proactive rather than reactive. The routine allows you to become familiar with each property, while your professional presence helps deter problems before they develop. When calls do come in, you'll respond calmly and courteously, providing the same high level of service our clients have come to expect.
A Typical Night Might Include
- Driving a company vehicle between assigned properties throughout Aspen.
- Conducting scheduled security patrols and building checks.
- Locking or unlocking facilities according to client procedures.
- Assisting hotel staff with guest lockouts or after-hours requests.
- Responding to alarms or investigating suspicious activity.
- Addressing noise complaints professionally and respectfully.
- Observing and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Completing accurate electronic patrol reports.
- Working with local emergency services when situations require additional assistance.
Who Thrives at Proguard?
The people who succeed here are dependable professionals who enjoy working independently.
They don't need constant supervision.
