Whitestone Global Services are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents through diligent patrolling, surveillance, and customer service. You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, performing access control duties, and responding effectively to emergencies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a safe environment while developing your skills in security operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor and report unusual conditions, facility issues, and potential policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Whitestone Global Services will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
