Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and access control systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones, to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Manage access control by verifying identities, performing background checks on visitors or contractors, and issuing visitor passes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies while adhering to safety standards.
- Enforce security policies and compliance with regulations through conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies.
Experience
- Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields demonstrating strong physical security skills.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with incident report writing, emergency response procedures, and performing background checks.
- Ability to handle conflict de-escalation confidently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Experience in performing patrolling duties within various environments such as commercial properties or industrial sites.
- Strong understanding of security regulations and compliance standards essential for maintaining a safe environment.

Pay: $24.36 - $29.34 per hour
