Responsibilities

Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct surveillance to detect suspicious activity or potential threats.
Control access to the facility by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees.
Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing clear communication with emergency responders if necessary.
Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior or theft attempts.

Experience

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security equipment is advantageous.
Basic first aid and CPR certification are highly desirable to respond effectively in emergencies.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices.

Pay: $16.75 - $17.75 per hour
