Veterans Covert Protection Group, or VCPG is a security consulting and staffing firm founded in 2018 to provide premier Executive Protection, Corporate Security, Residential Security, and Event Venue Security agents. Our team of highly trained and experienced professionals have specialized skills such as close protection, counter-surveillance operations, risk assessment, and crisis management.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is PART-TIME and ON-CALL. The position is based on your availability. We publish a shift schedule for the week via a mobile app, with assigned shifts and open shifts anyone can pick up.
Your posts and duties will be different throughout the week. This position requires travel to different locations, all within the Bay Area. Shifts can include morning, day, night, evening, and swing. For example, you may work a swing shift at one venue and the next day work at a different venue on a morning shift. Shifts change from week to week.
Agents usually work in teams of two or more, so camaraderie is a must. Agents must not only have a positive attitude towards the clients but also with their coworkers.

REQUIREMENTS
- Current and valid BSIS California Guard Card
- High school diploma or GED
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Speak, read, and write English
- Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions
- Not afraid to ask questions
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Be able to sit or stand for long periods (5-12 hours)
- Professional, friendly, and positive
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- At least 2 years of experience providing physical security, surveillance, emergency response, access control, and/or incident management.

Two-step interview process, either in-person at our Pleasanton office or on video call (Zoom or Google Meet). We get back to every candidate within 2 days of your interview, whether you get the job or not.
If scheduled for a video interview, please log in on time and dress professionally. There should be proper lighting and no distractions during the interview. You will receive an electronic Non-Disclosure Agreement to sign prior to your video interview.
