Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. A background in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities on-site.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols is essential.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
