Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Assist in conflict management situations by de-escalating tensions and providing support as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Provide first aid and CPR as required in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
