The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Building Guard in the Appellate Division 2nd Department in Brooklyn, New York.

*This is a Non-Salary, temporary position.

Positions available for weekends only (Night/Day Shifts)

*There are no fringe benefits associated with this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Guarding the courthouse, parking lot, and the public and private property contained therein.
Maintain a regular watch over the building.
Securing doors, windows, and gates.
Greet and assist Justices, court personnel, and other persons lawfully entering or leaving the premises.
Maintaining records of the events occurring on their shift.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Viable candidates will be subject to background check/fingerprinting.

Base Salary: $16.50/hr
