Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and alert Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property while maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue
- Verify guest IDs and maintain crowd control
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
- Enforce venue rules and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Escort guests or staff when necessary
- Collaborate with management and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Write brief reports of incidents or security concerns
Requirements:
- Previous security experience preferred (nightlife or hospitality experience a plus)
- Must be reliable, observant, and calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work nights/weekends
- Valid security license or certification (as required by NYC law)
