Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety compliance
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access to the facility
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches with appropriate action and communication
- Assist in conflict management by calmly resolving disputes or disturbances on-site
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and security incidents
- Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism risks and implementing preventative measures
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other security technology
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security protocols
- Ability to perform physical duties such as patrolling for extended periods and standing for long durations
- Additional qualifications such as military experience or security training are considered an asset
