Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles is highly valued.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR.
- Enforce company policies and safety protocols while managing conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and implementing preventative measures.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Conduct security checks of buildings, entrances, exits, and parking areas to ensure safety compliance.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
