Security Officers – Arts & Theater Venue (Flexible Schedule Required)
OneService Security Services is hiring Security Guards for a professional Off-Broadway style theater environment. This is a unique post in an arts setting where security plays an important role in supporting production staff, performers, and guests.
We are looking for reliable, professional candidates who can adapt to schedule changes based on whether the venue is in a production/tech phase (daytime hours) or a performance phase (evening/overnight hours).
Schedules typically stay consistent for several weeks or months at a time, but guards must be comfortable transitioning between daytime and overnight schedules when the production calendar shifts.
When applying, please indicate which Guard Position you are interested in:
- Guard 2 – 4 days per week (Sun–Thurs rotation depending on schedule phase)
- Guard 3 – 5 days per week (Wed–Sun rotation)
- Guard 4 – 5 days per week (Fri–Tues rotation)
Exact hours vary depending on whether the venue is in technical rehearsal mode (day shifts) or live performance mode (evening/overnight shifts). Overtime opportunities may arise during performance weeks.
Starting pay: $17.00 – $17.50 per hour
Approximately six months after hire, the client will require all guards to obtain the FDNY S-95 Certificate of Fitness, which will result in a pay increase at that time.
(Current S-95 holders are encouraged to apply; starting rate remains the same.)
